This soul and R&B singer-songwriter from Hawaii gained fame as one of the most talented musicians on the islands, earning recognition from and playing with the likes of Mick Fleetwood, Jack Johnson, Booker T Jones, Buddy Guy and G Love. For the past several years, Artis has been touring across North America to show audiences his multi-instrumental prowess and full range of musical influences, from Delta blues and gospel to northern soul, high-energy funk and R&B. As Grammy-nominated guitarist Tommy Emmanuel says, “It’s like if Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix could be one, they’d be Ron.”
