Wisconsin Singers presents When Opposites Attract for its 23-24 season! This exhilarating pop music revue explores the variation in the world around us, and the unexpected greatness of bringing opposites and difference together. Proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area.
Audiences will delight as medleys explore the contrast of hot and cold, the surprise of discovering what’s new and what’s old, the delicate balance of good and evil, and the tug of war between when to hold on and when to let go.
Performed by UW-Madison’s nationally renowned pop music ensemble of dancers, singers, and instrumentalists, Wisconsin Singers will ignite the stage with more than 50 songs in this brand-new original show! The show will include music from legendary artists such as Tina Turner, Queen, Dolly Parton, and Michael Bublé; showstopping numbers from Hamilton, Wicked, Some Like It Hot, and other award-winning musicals; and even favorite tunes from beloved movie soundtracks like High School Musical, A Goofy Movie, and The Breakfast Club.
Impressive vocals, stunning choreography, electrifying 10-piece band, and ever-contagious Badger spirit…Wisconsin Singers guarantees an unforgettable entertainment experience for every age and musical taste!
